I had an opportunity to try the watch on Friday.
It is so nice that I could imagine having in my watch winder side-by-side with my 5960/1A.
But the real question is black or blue. Blue looks stunning but it seems to be a fashion colour nowadays. What I heard from the AD is that most of the orders are for blue dialled watches. I think if the temptation is too much to tolerate, I will get the black one.
This watch does not feel any thicker that 5960 and because it's 1.5 mm larger, in a way it is more balanced than 5960. And the pushers are much nicer.

Actually, I'm a guy who thinks that a power reserve is more useful with an automatic watch than with a handwind one. Because with the handwind one, you usually wind it every morning. Anyway, thanks for your comments! Fx

Because the "middle" of Patek is actually already very high and you need to meet the expectations of the collectors who can't have access to the highly complicated watches... Fx

Has much less charm than the 5960. The 5960 as really something, as you wrote. Monocounter, first in house auto chrono movement, and an original and refined look at the same time. The 5905 cannot compete, imo. Best, Nicolas

I didn't pay too many attention to the fonts and you raised a good point. Actually, I see these fonts differences as a way to create an additional aesthetic gap between the counter and the other data. But yes, it lacks consistency in a way. Fx
