I went to the Baselworld exhibition few days ago. When looking at the new 5123R I exactly felt the same as you have described. I was very disappointed to see that they are using the same
tiny movement. For me a clear no go for such a high priced watch. So hopefully they will revise it or launch a new Calatrava model with the appropriate proportions re. case dimension and
size of the movement.

Not to my liking also ...
Not just the case back but also the narrow strap fitted on a larger case. Doesn't look proportionate in my eyes. But I do like the face of the dial though.
