The white dial unfortunately is oversupplied and perhaps an error in estimating demand but hope they will sort that out going forward in the interest of managing brand equity!

That they offered in white gold unfortunately! Almost perfect, I feel they should offer all of these in steel and with a strap option. I fear the bracelet may be a touch too intricate to fit the sports appeal of the watch itself. Ian

The MSRP of both watches are the same
45 000 CHF excl. VAT. The white one was 46 300 K€ incl. VAT in 2015 in France for instance. Best, Mark

The black would be very well with a black leather red topstitching (the white dial also it is true) and maybe more classy. The white is more additional of a duomètre black dial chrono .

but I can see the white has its charm. For me the best 5960 is still the original P with slate grey dial and white subdial. The new black is so-so. CC

Hmm, I find it very interesting how different individuals are sensing the design of the same watch model.
For me the 5960 is much more bold and sporty with ist red details and calendar windows. The Newman is much more restrained with ist matte dial and elegant Art Deco fonts. Most importantly, we all like this model for different reasons.
