I was contemplating a custom engraved piece to match my wedding ring as my wife and I designed our own rings and had the designed engraved by an artisan such as in this video. I know it is not for everyone but such is my madness for having something truly... 

this was why I was thinking about having one of my watches engraved with the same patterns. Just thought it would add some sentimental value due to the link between the ring and watch. What do you think of the design?

and beauty in this case is really in the eyes of the beholder. Engraving is ok to me but too much engraving as in the case with the 5990 in the photo might me misconstrued asbeing in poor taste even if it is to be a family heirloom. And I agree that only ...
