with Julian and others..to me the watch looks original on the basis of the images...there are many variations of individual references one can find.a lovely find!!Whats is the provenance?
As for Patek knowing everything about vintage pieces I sent in a reference and they decided to change the hands unilaterally (without me asking) as they insisted that the hands they put in were the "correct" ones for that reference.A year later,many exchanges of mails and after sending proof to the contrary with over 20 other images of the same reference with the correct hands,they agreed to change them back to the original ones.

...but the more important question to ask is - is your example genuine? The hands do not match for sure. That is a yellow flag to many, a red flag to me. PP would never replace them with those hands for sure. Who knows what else has been replaced? The dia...
