I would go with the 5205. IMHO it's a more elegant looking watch. I like the aesthetic better. On a purely investment basis then the 5960P has to win. It's more complicated....having a chrono and is Platinum. On a purely looks perspective the 5205 sings more to me, new or used shouldn't be that big a deal and most watch wear centers around the strap which can easily be replaced. I do appreciate the thrill of being the FIRST but that does go away afterva few scratches. Go with what sings to you... good luck.

It depends
on many issues like the price of 5960P as well as it's condition. It does not mean anything but I like much more the design of 5205G than 5960P. A manually wound chronograph is the watch which makes me exited and an automatic one is for me just a replacem...

If I could only have one I would without hesitation choose the 5960P. I have the dark dial 5205G and it is a fantastic piece but it honestly doesn't compare to the 5960P.

Here's a vote for 5205G
I'm biased for having owned one. And it is a complication that is more practical than a combo chrono/AC. The watch is also elegantly original, with new aperture/concave bezel traits that are almost similar to the 5960P. Further, at its current price point...
