I tried on 5230G and R at my AD some time ago and found that both are really beautiful. I share your view that 5230 is an improvement on 5130, although I would have preferred a case diameter of 39.5 mm. I'm seriously considering to buy one in the future. Really nice catch. Best, Volker

This case grows on you-so different from the 5130 and 5110. I know some have found it problematic, as more likely to get scratched but I love it.

We just discussed the issue few days ago with Nico about 5110 P / 5230 G and we reached the conclusion that both ref are the right ones to consider for anyone looking for a PP WT. You have been well advised by your French friend and the British Vladigator...

Yes, we are all on the same page-if not the 5110 then this one. And I can say that having the 5230 now I am very glad this was the one I chose. The dial work is phenomenal and, as I stated above, I have fallen in love with this case.
In that "case" you have all the reasons to be happy ! 😉

I have had the chance to see the 5230 at the PP Geneva flagship few months ago and I was speechless

Beautiful watch. I have looked at both the G and R versions and they are both fantastic but the G is a bit more natural and wearable for all settings. Congrats again its on my PP list of future purchases.
