Patek Philippe

I have decided that I want to add a Patek to my collection and want to go for a Nautilus. I have decided for the 5712 range because the case is so thin and the caliber 240 movement with its micro rotor is very sexy. Now the final question.....do I go for ...

.....you have four in that combination and buying another two this month. That makes six of this nature. And how many do you have of the reference overall? I am absolutely certain that you have told us before, but I'd just love to see another image of all...

first, i am fascinated by the accumulation of a specific reference....so that interests me in itself. second...regarding the Nautilus, I don't own a single one as its not a watch that appeals to me personally.

from 3700-001 to 3700-011. The main difference is the change of the bracelet and from 3712 to 5712. There are a lot of differences the main being in my opinion from 2-parts case to 3-parts case. Best, Kari

I may be in the minority here but I think the moon phase complication suits the RG better. The SS blue dial suits the 5980 or 5711.

I'm a 5712 owner and I went for this reference for the same reasons, among others. My choice wasn't about the blue dial but about the thinness and the bracelet. The bracelet is a fantastic example of fine craftmanship when considering the smooth shape mak...

That is probably more important to answer. As someone that is not an avid fan of Nautilus, I would say if you want it to be worn on most occasions, blue with SS bracelet. The dressier but warmer watch is the rose gold. I have seen the rose gold on the str...
