the steel blue face is the iconic Nautilus and you probably have seen posters and magazine advertisements in alot places. If your lifestyle involves outdoor activities or a dip in the pool, the steel would be ideal.
However, I find that the precious metal versions offers much more elegance and feels much 'softer'. You need to put them side by side compare if possible. Both versions are handsome but the rose gold is warmer and perhaps dressier.. and I would not take it for a dip nor cut the grass in the garden wearing it.
Can't go wrong with either one. Good luck with your choice.

first, i am fascinated by the accumulation of a specific reference....so that interests me in itself. second...regarding the Nautilus, I don't own a single one as its not a watch that appeals to me personally.
In other words you mean
from 3700-001 to 3700-011. The main difference is the change of the bracelet and from 3712 to 5712. There are a lot of differences the main being in my opinion from 2-parts case to 3-parts case. Best, Kari

I may be in the minority here but I think the moon phase complication suits the RG better. The SS blue dial suits the 5980 or 5711.
