It is the first time that I have seen this piece. The engraving is very nice !!
How many pieces were made ?
From the photos, the color of the engraving on the dial and the hands is the same. Does it make reading the time a bit challenging ?

The watch you are referring to is the 5088p It's a platinum watch made for basel 2012 as a limited edition. It features a black enamel dial with engraving and the same on the case sides and lugs. Sincerely H.

As far as I know 25 pieces were made. With regard to telling the time , you are right. I find myself mesmerized by the dial at times and forget to actually read the time. At night it can be somewhat difficult to know the exact time, but this watch isn't a...

... the focus of this watch is about the artistry of the engraving, and not telling the exact time (which is really secondary)
