I have to admit that my skills are woefully lacking. My sister however has been honing her skills with a camera and has even exhibited some of her work. And so I asked her to take a few shots and this is what she sent back to me. These are a few I picked ...

The watch you are referring to is the 5088p It's a platinum watch made for basel 2012 as a limited edition. It features a black enamel dial with engraving and the same on the case sides and lugs. Sincerely H.

is simply great. Whenever I see one I have to think about the 16 hours just needed for the engraving of the dial. It´s an awesome piece. Your sister did a very good job, but I hope she did also send back the watches and not only the pictures :-) The Ref. ...

If they did produce more than 50 when they said all they would produce is 50' then it's a problem for Their PR department and speculators who asked for the watch on the basis that there would only be 50. For an owner who appreciates what he has and has an...

It is the first time that I have seen this piece. The engraving is very nice !! How many pieces were made ? From the photos, the color of the engraving on the dial and the hands is the same. Does it make reading the time a bit challenging ? Cheers, Gordon... 

As far as I know 25 pieces were made. With regard to telling the time , you are right. I find myself mesmerized by the dial at times and forget to actually read the time. At night it can be somewhat difficult to know the exact time, but this watch isn't a... 

... the focus of this watch is about the artistry of the engraving, and not telling the exact time (which is really secondary)
