I've had my heart set for the Yellow Golden 3738/100J-012 for quite some time, and just when I was about to travel to Geneva to purchase one, learned that there's no more inventory and that the model is discontinued. Bummer... And no - the Rose and Platin...

The Caliber 240 ca also be serviced from ADs who are authorised by Patek

Even a freelance watchmaker is able to service the Caliber 240 due to its "simple" functions. It is extra flat which would ask for a skilled watchmaker though...

although having been in production for 50 years has not enjoyed the good resale values when compared to other Pateks. It may have the same movement as the Calatrava models but one can pick up a yellow gold model from the 70s, 80s or 90s at a great price. ...
