...and he gave me the same phone number and same references that "turboale" did when I contacted him here. I agree, recently there has been a rash of scams on high-end pieces. One recent seller of a 5070P even went so far as to send me well hidden photos previously posted online, and even a really really well photoshopped picture of the watch on today's newspaper!! This is REALLY scary
Strange things occuring in Collectors Market....
I saw someone by the name of TURBOALE selling a 5970G for a wonderful price but he's using AROLEX's photo. I responded to that post to inform him that the photo belong to a fellow purists and in minutes, that post disappears. Is that a scam or something? ...

If you Paper trail ( Computer trail ) he shows recent sales of a 5970 and a 5070. The Ad you are referring to is up again as of 3 pm : 5970 for 123K
the 3pm ad is not the one....
