But the Perfect world doesn't exist, and I don't see how someone can trust in a Guy he doesn't know at all, or perfectly, when he wants to buy such a Particular Watch as a Panerai Vintage, a Rolex Vintage, or a High End and expensive watch such as a PP, or a Grande Complication...
Even if the seller has the watch with him, what can guarantee you that the watch works well, is not in bad condition, and is really complete without nothing missing?
More generally, how can you trust when you don't know?
Of course, there are some very nice guuys who sincerely and honestly want to sell their watches, and this is not fair for them...
A Well known Guy from the Community, a serious Dealer, a great AD, there are much more possiblities than taking the Risk to deal with an unkown person...IMO.
Yes, the bad thing is that when you want a watch, you don't only have to make your homework on a watch, but also on the seller...
Very bad, veeery sad, indeed!
Best.
