There are very few absolutely perfect things on earth. I like the simple case design, love the movement as well as the size of the watch and the colour of the dial is stunning. I do not like that much the diamond indexes but that's another story...
I do not see any point to compare 5070P and 5170P. Both are manufactured by PP and both are simple chronographs. That's it! they are very different watches so really, why to compare. We do not that often compare two perpetuals belonging to different generations and that's the case with these chronographs.
All in all, a truly great Patek.

I’m waiting for the 5270P (if it comes without diamonds) as the next PP chrono for me, other then maybe 5370P as an other good option.
