Cocktail at the Patek Philippe Boutique of Paris

Today, I had the chance to attend a cocktail organized by the Patek Philippe Boutique of Paris to present us the 2011 novelties.

Good point for Patek, everything was gathered at the Boutique... except the 5208. But when we know the difficulties to get only the half part, I found that the hit ratio was excellent!

I will not speak a lot about the watches, Marcus did a great post after his visit at the Patek book during the Basel Fair:

Sadly, I forgot to shoot the Ladies' Gondolo, the 7041 which is for me, the nicest ladies' watch from Patek this year.

For me, the 5101 is the Patek of the year. Its case is superb, the blue dial gorgeous...

I'm not a great fan of these black dials:

The dark dial makes it more confused for the QP 5073:

And the 5153 is very sad, so sad that I couldn't take a descent pic of it.

The 5496, I find its dial unbalanced:

The 5550P. The question about this watch is to know if this kind of technical innovation is something we expect from Patek. Patek has been a very innovative brand but I don't know why, I'm a bit reluctant with this use of new materials in the Patek context. Maybe it is stupid to have such attitude. By the way, the watch is really superb. What a dial!
