But the dial of the 5970R has something magical and that we do not find in the new generations of Patek. Advantage 5970 for the dial.
The 5270R has a nice dial with a "buttery" feel, that gives it a nice vintage touch.
To each its own charm, but i guess that when the moment of triggering comes, i'd go for 5270R. Overall, its above the 5970 IMO

The front side of the 5970 has something indeed magical. And I prefer the new movement. I must say that from my point of view the new 5270 (3rd gen) may really gather the best of both world. However, as the price tag increases, the expectations do equally...
