Calatrava 5127 vs FP Journe Octa automatique reserve

Hi Patek lovers,

I am thinking of aquiring the watch of my life and the Calatrava 5127 has been in my mind for a few years. I really appreciate the elegance in its simplicity, its harmonious curves and the finish of the movement. However I recently discovered the Octa automatique reserve from FP Journe. Although it's style is quite different from the 5127, I really like its dial and the movement looks stunning too. Unfortunately I don't know much about the difference between FP Journe and Patek which I think is the benchmark. The Octa automatique reserve is also surprisingly about 40 % more expensive than the 5127 !  It only has the power reserve as an extra feature from the 5127.

Do you think  I might make a mistake if I go for the FP Journe instead of the 5127 ?

How does Journe compare to Patek ?

Would Patek fans like you go for a Journe which seems more exclusive (I read Journ makes 2,000 watches a year while Patek make 40,000) ?

Thank so much for helping me in that decision with you expertise.
