It's a beautiful reference, but for whatever reason the Gondolo models are often overlooked. I really like it, and it's surprisingly complex in its simplicity.
Your photo captures it so well. From the unique lugs and bezel configuration, the dial's beautiful guilloched center, the applied faceted dart indices.... What's not to love?? Congrats on marching to the beat of your own drum and appreciating beauty in the "unconventional".

This is actually one of my favorite Gondolos.
And yellow gold is exactly the right color. Very nice.
Everything about your Gondolo is beautiful - case, dial and movement. While in general rectangular watches are out of favor it wasn't always so.
There was a time when rectangular vintage time only Pateks were considered to be more desirable and were more valuable than round Pateks. Personally, I love rectangles and your watch has it all. Tastes change and at some point I suspect rectangles will ag...
That's a Gondolo version I like for its uniqueness
