Another truly extraordinary review this time of the iconic 2497 - 2438/1. For me along with the 2499 this is about as good as it gets
in vintage Pateks. Additionally, WT cloisonné. My all time #2 favorite is the platinum Breguet dial 2497. #1 is first series 2499 RG pulsations dial. Seeing both watches in person was truly amazing.
On a separate note one can clearly see how 2497 DNA is reflected in the dial of sweep seconds 5396 which you recently reviewed.

Very sharp shot of the 5320, which is a very beautiful perpetual calendar.
Among the little details I particularly like is the way the crown is slightly recessed into the case. And of course, the stepped bezel and lugs are fantastic. Have a nice Sunday.
