I'm sure it is! Apparently even getting Patek serviced in Canada (where I'm from) can be tricky. 🤷‍♂️

too many (relatively) stories on a really rare watch that is not inhouse ay large but I feel is made with too many subcontractors.... At that level I'm expecting them to be mostly inhouse and flawless.

In-house is largely marketing. At LF everyone does what they do best and the result speaks for itselve. Just my humble opinion.

There's something about the 6000r which I'm not crazy about. But it is, as you say unconventional. On another note, when you remark about a watch being dressy, or sporty, casual, etc. I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I see my watches as pieces of art tha... 

When you talk Patek, 5146P wins , And the 6000 is a ref I would avoid... You may look there for the 5107P as well, you may like it. Or, the now back to reality sub 50K prices of the 5960P

One can only tell what he would personally do, but only you can tell what works for you. Chances are that you will get here multiple diverging answers among which some will comfort your own feelings and some won’t. So just follow your own feelings. Here, ... 

I hear you and agree! I was just looking for some relative thoughts. Tried on the 6000G grey dial and it really wasn't to my liking. The grey is not a super dark anthracite but rather a little ice blue-ish. Maybe it was the lighting but either way, it was...

To add.... I found a Rolex bubbleback for 1/10th the price of this 6000r today. I've been looking for a great bubbleback for years. I was just about to say goodbye to the Patek debate and then saw tiny slivers of radium on the hands. So heartbreaking. It ... 

6000R because I own one.🤣 It is the China 10th anniversary with a map of China in the back. The combo of rose gold case and dark brown dial works really well 👍 ...

It was a last second purchase....couldn't be happier. Decided the 5146P was just too similar to my 5140P. I do love the way the 6000r can dress up or down. ...

That is hard for me to appreciate/understand. The PP5146G initially made your heart sing and then after too short of a time you decided to trade it away. Could that have been a premature decision?
