Patek Philippe

Especially the second series 3970R. An absolutely gorgeous watch often overlooked and undervalued by collectors. The resemblance to the 2499 is amazing. I often wonder how much the 3970 second series would be if they had made just a handful. No other watc...

To me, an early (1st or 2nd series) 3970 or 3971 is the most beautiful, iconic complicated PP ever made.

look at the 5020 and you have an answer 5020 is rare and expensive but it's nothing more than a 3970 in another case 3970 must be the most cheap complicated Patek available, if they made it in the size I prefer I would go for it but I can't give that much... 

I would choose the 3970 hands down (pun intended)

options :-) I share your sentiments regarding the 3970, but I am happy that they made "that much". It is one of the very few complicated pieces from PP that is still available (even when not new) for a wider group of connoisseurs. Cheers, Oliver

The 3970 is a fantastic fotocopy of THE Patek: 2499.

Thanks for sharing with us such iconic pieces. As someone earlier mentioned the 3970 2nd series gives us ordinary folk a chance to own something so special yet doesn't cost our entire fortune.
