I noticed you had a great appeal for the 3448. The dial, as you mentionned is something I like a lot in these early Patek PCs. It is refined, not only in the decoration but the very tasteful and light color, the fonts....
From an historical point of view, with the fact Patek launched the first made in series PC wristwatches, a little earlier, this is a hell of a move. What these kind of references stand for in the brand's history is very important to me when considering this kind of purchase.
For a vintage watch it is very nice to have it in 37.5mm. As a side note, it seems to me that this case is now also used in the 5235G.
Yet, we see that you didn't choose it randomly!
I really appreciated reading your article explaining your thoughts and choices, going deeper into all these details. Our hobby is also about living by proxy this kind of rare experience.
It is not everyday that we have a collector sharing such rare piece either so thank you joe.
Wear it in the best of health and may you bring many more pictures in the future (scuba diving etc...)
Speechless.
Cheers, Mark
PS: Don't let it stop !
