I truly love all my watches for different reasons, but In not sure if I could consider any of them as the perfect watch for me. Still searching for it 😅

for himself is of course highly subjective. The reason why this watch feels perfect to me is that it feels very special (shaped case and manual winding movement, guilloche dial, platinum case) yet understated. Also it’s deeply rooted in history and tradit... 

As you rightly said, this is all very personal and subjective. In my case, I really value what the watch makes me feel and the comfort on the wrist.

To be honest I'm surprised you ever manage to wear any of your other watches when you can have this one on the wrist. But I suppose having a short break from it every now and then brings back the joy of putting it back on again. Marc

Turn it over and under the hood, it is powered by a totally modern, top end movement. By contrast, the Rolex Cellini Prince which you recently wrote about for me is an unappealing hodge podge. Being Rolex, I assume the movement is excellent but aesthetica... 

Concerning the Chronometro Gondolo, I feel exactly like you: it's the best of both vintage and modern worlds. This watch resonates with me very deeply. Its century-old design evokes a past where elegance, exquisite refinement and a form of fantasy reigned...

I got into Patek only after I fell in love at first sight watching a video on this 5098 reference. I guess because it just looked so different...I value craftsmanship, and this reference has a lot of that , for what I believe is still undervalued compared...
