5726... nice in the metal, but thicker than expected.

I had the chance to see this novelty yesterday.
The dial is very nice and the symmetry plays well (funny comment from a proud 5712 owner). But the thickness is « currently » blocking me. And I much prefer the 5980 when it comes to « thick Nautilus ».
BTW, waiting time is already 4 yrs... so a few more month to decide what to do won’t change lunch in my opinion.

Of course it makes quite a difference vs the 5712 but for me it works well. As a 5712 owner too I could easily be tempted for the different thicker case gives a different feeling and look to it even if it is a Nautilus. I ‘ll wait for mine to arrive and t...

It’s not just thicker it’s also wider than the 5712.

Basically the 5726 sits right between the 5711/12 and 5980. It has the same width as the 5980 just not as thick. For me it’s the perfect size actually as I find the 5711 bracelet feels a bit too fragile.
