I have a 5167 and a friend of mine has a 5165. You can clearly see the difference in size between the two watches: you would not confuse one for the other. The website is clearly wrong. Patek measures its watches the same way so what you see on the websit... 

I agree on this, there is a substantial difference between the two and it's all about personal preference. Im happy with my 5165 but I'd rather have a 5167 and only bought the 38mm beacuse I got it at a good price and the timing was right. Make sure you t... 

I was in exactly the same situation and decided to do what our mutual friend suggested (i.e. see the watch and try it on before you make a final decision). I had all but decided on a 5165 - until I saw them together at the same time and went for the 5167.... 

For those of you who have the 2009-2010 catalogue, check out p104. The 5167A is in fact a picture of the 5165 (also shown on p 107)
