5070, 1463, and 1579
I have owned three of them - the 5070G and the 1463J and 1579J. Recently sold the 5070 but still have the others.
I much prefer the two vintage pieces to the current 5070. In my mind they are more balanced and aesthetically pleasing not to mention the unusual lugs on the 1579. I thought the 5070 was too big and has less character but I'm sure this will be a minority opinion on this forum.

Not at all mate, coz 5070 is just popular for its bigger size as huge cases are quite sporadic in Patek Philippe, otherwise definitely the vintage versions have a more classy and sophisticated presentation.

What about the movement ?
So far the comparisons have only been about the looks................what about the movements ? Isnt the Nouvelle Lemania Ch 27-70 probably the best chrono movment from Patek so far ?
