11 versions NIco!
Oct 18, 2018,07:25 AM
Regular J/P/R/G
Run out J/P/R/G with the Roman XII. The J version has a champagne dial I believe.
Salmon G
Brown dial J possibly a one off. There was a photo of it recently following a factory tour.
Blue dial P definitely a one off for charity.
That makes 11 versions at least.
Then there is the rumoured Clapton P with Breguet numerals.
I suspect there may be other special versions owned by VIPs but nothing in the public domain that corroborates this.
Rgds
Roger.

Here it is: Credit picture; Christies. I am not sure I like the small XII, which looks a bit weird, here, and the small round applied dots, but for the rest, it is a feast! Still, Miles' one is my favorite. Best, Nicolas ...
Superb..

Thank you for this Nicolas.

You now see the craziness of my desire to acquire all!!!! Basically totally impossible.
Wow Miles so thatโs at least 3 or 4 more variants beyond my list of 11!

Part of a set released at the end of production reportedly in a number of 4 sets this one with studs and in Platinum and the only others are the London Exhibition 5970gโs with the Salmon baton dial as mine and I believe they made 4 and the one at the star...
Sorry a correction.

The one in this thread is the 5970g from the sets. I have not seen a 5970p with Salmon dial. So as far as I know only 5970โs with Salmon dial are in white gold. M.
A few more?

This is from the days when Patek could do (almost) no wrong... and a lot very, very right. NICE.
True enough Mostel!
