This is what I call the "Patek Philippe Observatoire Watch" like the A. Lange & Sohne Richard Lange watch is an "Observatoire Watch." A truly great piece in the very fitting and appropriate steel case. Very fitting in steel! A fantastic find!

Hi Roni, firstly  huge congrats - it is a very rare watch and dial / movement combo! Secondly I have a (maybe naive) question: Does it make sense to use "regular" hands on a dial with luminous (radium) dots? Should´nt there be luminous hands too?  Maybe a...

Erich...the thought even occurred to me but I guess one would never know the answer as the Patek Extract do not specify the hands when the watch left the factory. Having said that i've seen one other 565 Steel with radium dots but ' regular" hands .... Wh...
