Patek Philippe

The first Annual Calendar from Patek in 1996

Hello all,

I am a huge fan of the Patek Philippe 5035 Annual Calendar.
This was the model of the very first Patek Annual Calendar - a complication invented by Patek Philippe itself in 1996.

In recent years the bigger 5146 has replaced this model.  Some say the 5035 is a touch too small at 37mm (the 5146 is 39mm).
I believe the 5035 at 37mm is the perfect size for the perfect "complicated" dress watch.

I post the following pics of my own personal 5035 from 1999.

I believe the 5035 is a relative bargain in today's market.  Prices on the secondary market range from $21,500- up to $30,000- for a Patek version.
I believe these are a future collectable watch - Patek's first annual calendar.

$25,000- today buys a simple manual wind piece on the "new" retail market.

For this money I think the 5035 is a bargain.
