Just another watch isn’t it?

It took some time to get the stainless steel PP buckle and even longer to get the textile strap ( originally from the amazing 5373p). I am enjoying this combo for the 5960/1A. Not that I dislike the SS bracelet at all. What do you think? ...

Awesome Combo!!

Fantastic watch, well paired with the strap...well done!!

Thanks Dimardi!

Have a great week end!

That should be the factory pairing!

What I love on this reference is the framed apertures for all the calendar functions

Thanks, moi aussi.

The black frames on this model are so cool.

That looks very convincing

 By: ChristianDK : February 3rd, 2024-15:22
Is the strap blue or black?

Thanks Christian.

 By: jlc.thomsen : February 3rd, 2024-15:49
It’s black calf skin with textile texture. ...

Thank you so much 😊

 By: ChristianDK : February 3rd, 2024-16:47
I have the black dial version. I think I need to order this strap as well. Mange tak!

This combination makes perfect sense for a sporty watch like this👏🏽

What I dislike about bracelet pieces is that when switching to a strap it leaves a bit of a gap between the case and strap…I can’t stand the gap showing my wrist, but it looks fine when I see on others. It’s probably just in my head.

Thanks.

 By: jlc.thomsen : February 3rd, 2024-16:04
I don’t think there is a bigger gap than with the strap born 5960s is there? ...

Initially I couldn’t tell clearly due to the sun-shaded part in the original wrist shot…

 By: ArmisT : February 3rd, 2024-17:57
but when I zoom in as best I can, it does indeed look like the shot above, which is perfect.👌🏽 Thank you for clarifying this point, because the steel 5960 has been on my list ever since I sold my platinum (all black) version. But the bracelet held me back...

Thanks Nico.

Hard to get that buckle. It comes from the PP weekly calendar with the hand writing. It’s now ready for the Nico 5960 strap too. Just need to order it in 20/16. Macedo offered me one but it was 20/18.

Perfection takes time... ;)

I have a soft spot for the 5960, specially for the 1A version

 By: 1WatchMan : February 3rd, 2024-16:00
Lovely combo, and I specially like that you found a Patek buckle to round it up 👌🏻

Thanks man.

 By: jlc.thomsen : February 3rd, 2024-16:34
Yes that hunt for a stainless steel buckle. Part of the joy when it all comes together. As for the soft spot, same here. I knew from friends how different it would be with a strap when I got it. But wow! did it blow up all my expectations. From fantastic ...

It looks really great, totally different watch

I think it’s dead gorgeous! Really surprised on how well it turned out. Like pushing a magic button for that 1A reference.

Those pump pushers… wow.

Wear it in good health!

Thanks Gary.

This is absolutely wonderful….

 By: Clueless_Collector : February 3rd, 2024-16:22
One of the early members spent a good effort to custom made a strap like this, but like carbon fiber style, it was amazing but yours is perfect as well. Congrats.

So cool.

Do you think you can locate these pictures clueless?

See if this helps…

As far as I recall you have one too. A true WPS piece isn’t it?

Indeed

Never liked the bracelet but this 🔝

Looks super cool

 By: Derreck : February 3rd, 2024-17:50
I might also use it in my 5212, it also has some red accents, albeit very small ones. It’s interesting, I couldn’t find any calf skin straps with textile texture in the internets, wonder why other producers are not producing this kind of straps, they look...

It’s called calf leather embossed with textile pattern

 By: jlc.thomsen : February 3rd, 2024-22:51
Patek also did one as the extra strap for 5326G with grey stitching. ...

Thanks!
