Patek Philippe

5960/5070

I own both watches. IMHO the 5960 is a substantially undervalued watch in terms of the functions and it being in a platinum case. Also, the demand for it is extraordinairily high, IMHO more so than for 5070. But, if I could own only one watch of the two, it would be the 5070 (especially in white gold). Aesthetically, I think it is probably the nicest looking watch in the entire Patek line. It actually reminds me of some 1940s/50s Longines chronos - similar dial and case style. The Longines was very large for that time (38-39mm approx.). Until the 5070, I thought that among chronos from a strictly aesthetic point of view, such Longines was the apex. (No, I never owned one - I'm pretty much strictly a Patek guy - but I always appreciated it.)
