Parmigiani

It was a busy year, at least by my standards. I made the decision early in the year to focus my watch collecting on Parmigiani. The new focus precipitated a wholesale makeover of my collection: out went 9 watches and in came 14. All but one of the incomin...

and that compliment comes from someone who usually does not like tourbillons. Congratulations on a very purposeful management of your collection!

I don't like tourbillons visible in a hole on the dial. Not my cup of tea at all. This tourbillon is actually an inverted movement, i.e., what you would normally see looking at the backside of the watch. There is no dial hole which makes all the differenc...

They all seem to be true. And as the big brands start going for volume where finishing isn’t what it used to be, PF is setting itself apart.

although on a much smaller scale. Parmagiani has an integrity lacking in many bigger, and more popular, brands. I agree that Guido Terreni is steering PF to new heights. The Toric is both gorgeous and understated, like nothing I’ve seen before.

13 Parmigianis in a year! I am not familiar with the brand but those 2 are gorgeous.
