The new New York City (NYC) boutique features a unique layout that is more private club than actual traditional watch boutique. The emphasis here is for the brand to get to know the client and for the client to get to know the philosophy behind the brand. The watch store is divided mainly into two sections; the smaller front section displays but a few timepieces, while the larger rear section appears to be more of a private club with a bar, comfortable lounge chairs, coffee tables, and a library of watch books. Combined with an expert staff, the store gives a unique impression that time slows down, an impressive feat considering the fast way of life in NYC.
The store features high ceilings and a comfortable atmosphere with unique local NYC touches. On the walls near the bar, there are inlaid wood panels that are particularly indicative of the Empire art-deco style. Another wall features a mural of a skyscraper in an art-deco theme. The clean, purposeful, and delicate lines of these art deco walls are harmoniously blended with the F.P. Journe timepiece.
Special appearances were made at the New York City Boutique Grand Opening by Monseiur Journe, Monseiur Pierre, many PuristS, and many special watches! Enjoy the photos!

Hi Patrick:
Thank you so much for posting the pictures. I am glad that Josh and I were in a few pictures with you. Two watch events in one week: the Montblanc dinner and then Journe. I cannot wait for the Lange event next year.
You are a true gentleman and it was very enjoyable to share wonderful conversations and a few laughs with you.
Josh and I do look forward to the next time we meet - whether in California or once again in New York.
With warmest regards - Mark
