After a long wait I finally have my Centigraph back on the wrist. Today I'm taking it for a drive. I've been playing it with it all morning and the flying second hand is running smoothly and the time has remained accurate the entire week. I'm thinking of switching to a blue strap later today.

A few of the early pieces that were released experienced a problem with the flying seconds hand. Mine worked perfectly the first month but then it would get stuck. I had to send it back and was told that FPJ made some modifications. I believe the problem had to do with the flying second hand creating some friction/heat. I have had the piece back a few weeks now and it's been working flawlessly. I really missed having it on the wrist.

Good to see it back. Congratulations.

Playing with the Centigraphe is absolutely enjoyable. Watching the 3 dials moving simultaneously at different speeds is definitely more exciting compared to a traditional chronograph. In fact when I watch the sweeping second hand of a chronograph right after using a Centigraphe it feels like it takes ages to complete one revolution. Another surprise I discovered today was when I put the Centigraphe to my ear while running. What you hear is a very smooth pulsing sound from the sweeping second hand. Also the start/stop rocker is a joy to use.
