Or super light Titanium...




Personally... I love the case of the titanium version as it is superlight (like the old sports line), however I am not a fan of the 'S' on the dial which for me is a real turn off.  In a dream world... I would actually like the platinum dial fitted on the titanium case (not possible I already know )

I've seen a few wrist shots already and it seems the watch does wear smaller than the measurements would suggest, I guess the lack of a traditional lug helps. 

For my mind, there is something “Not quite right” about the aesthetics - maybe it’s the bezel.

Intriguing complication but the whole package doesn’t quite grab me.
(I could be in the monitory though)

...and the answer was that it was 'only a mock-up' or words to that effect. It seems that the 'mistake' in the mock-up was carried over to the actual piece. Or it wasn't a mistake and the hands were designed to be shorter. If the intention was to have short hands it was a bad decision. If it was a mistake, it is poor quality control. I wonder which one it is?

I was pretty cold about the release on first viewing but these make them look a bit better. I'll have to reserve judgement until I see them in the flesh. I have my Centigraphe 10 year HK anniversary edition so not sure about adding another chronograph although the titanium is nice (and as commented, looks better on the wrist than the 44 size might have suggested).

On the press pictures... I was like no way! But in the metal it was totally different... a pleasant surprise.

Platinum version the most pleasing aesthetically but I would go with Ti I think. The red details are not my cup of tea but the lightness is what would get me to wear this piece. I do wish it was possible to fit a soft strap on this however and then the plat would come into play perhaps....


I am quite curious as to how this wear on the wrist. Says 44mm but lack of lugs surely compensates. Does it feel right to wear? How would it feel to someone not comfortable wearing pieces traditionally over 41mm?

but would be a really nice option... the gold on a brown alligator strap would be a killer combination!
Actually it is not that thick and you are right about the lugs so it hugs the wrist really comfortably (I do not have a big wrist but do wear big watches!). Even the platinum version did not move from side to side which is often the case with a heavy watch.
