because it would blend with my skin tone the best. Saying that, allocation is near impossible despite all my efforts trying to charm my sales person at Cartier!
I can understand the limited edition platinum model being elusive but the regular production tank guichets should be more readily available. Either Cartier are severely limiting the production of these watches even though they are not limited editions or Cartier had under estimated the demand for these watches.
I think being part of Richemont isn't a great thing for any brand because it seems to me that the group is focused on sales and prices rather than on watchmaking. At least I find their price policy very aggressive and not to my liking.
There are several jumping hour watches in the market but for me this is one of the least attractive versions in this category 🤷♂️ It's like wearing a gold plate and not a watch.

If I was to go for one it would be the rose gold version but this really is not my kind of watch although I do appreciate their historical significance.
