It's sometimes easier to travel with a simple watch...
Traveling with complex watches can be cumbersome sometime. For instance, on many perpetual calendars you can't go backwards, so if you travel WEST past the date line, you could have issues with damaging or desynchronizing the perpetual calendar.
Thus, sometimes, some people prefer to travel with a normal watch! And there certainly are people who own non-complex watches. And they must travel with those too right?
