It's 42mm which is not overwhelming, but bigger than most GSs.
Also featuring a steel case, transparent caseback, serial number engraved on the back, and 9S61 movement with 72-hr power reserve.

Saw this on Grand Seiko's website late last night . . .
. . . and breathed a huge sigh of relief when I saw the > 40 mm case size. Had it been < 38, I'd have been a goner ;-) . . .
I definitely agree on the size
42mm for a watch that carries this look and feel, IMO, should be between 38-40mm. Any larger and it enters sports territory and the looks doesn't play that part very well.
It has a nice overall look though. I like the clean lines and no date though I would have preferred single baton indices.
