Rolex

As was recently mentioned, the iconic Day-Date is the essence of Rolex. Here's an example that stirs my heart each time hold her. Rarity x3 and all original Rolex: A 50 year old and super rare black underline stella.

Not only is the flawless dial to die for, the 1963 case is another rarity being an original smooth bezel 1802. To top off this perfect trifecta, this sweetheart has the original 1963 folding clasp brick bracelet which is as mint and nos condition as the rest of the piece.

Although I love my Daytonas, my gilts, and my tropicals, this is one piece that easily ranks as one of my absolute rarest. Here's a few quick photos, enjoy

Thank you for sharing this exceptional Day-Date.  I think it may be the most compelling rose gold Rolex I've seen.  Elegance and power co-exist here in exquisite balance.  The restrained proportions and light/dark contrasts create an impression of refined masculinity. 

I think your DD embodies the best of Rolex design.  A photo of this watch should be the "rose gold Rosetta Stone" when trying to explain the appeal of Rolex to a cynic; one look, and I feel like anyone would understand where hype ends and substance takes over.

This being a 50 year old timepiece that still retains an elegance of pure class, no wonder why they call this the President

That glossy black dial has an incredible depth and the smooth bezel change the whole appearance! The bracelet is very special and in fantastic condition!
