...with an amazing number of top quality vintage pieces.
Cheers

Hello all... and being new (to this forum) let me begin with a PLEASE and THANK YOU
Seriously though, how is it that a disproportionate quantity of Rolex goodies are to be found there (still)?
You'd figure they'd combed through the country from top to bottom by now -- yet still I am taken back by the sheer number of vintage goodies coming out of there.
As an Omega Collector as well, I note a very impressive number of exotics coming out of there, and as a dive watch collector even see obscure brands popping up all the time - many NOS in boxes etc... just amazing.
I understand France having historically significant dive watches (as a result of COMEX and Cousteau)... but ITALY?
And don't get me wrong - absolutely LOVE the country, the food, the culture, the people, fashion, art, history... I'm a true fan.
But damn ALL the watches too, HOW? WHY?
If someone would be kind enough to elaborate - I'd be much obliged.
Thanks... and please.

I thought it was Cuba, but somebody told me that's not in Europe (image stolen from the internet, no idea who to credit).
