I personally do not use watches an investment vehicles. I acquire watches that I find interesting, and I wear them. If I find I’m not wearing one of my watches often or if my eyes get tired of looking at its lines then off it goes to a new owner.
But this is a Daytona, which I’m sure you know is a watch that many currently view as a growth-potential investment.
So Even if you don’t love it anymore you may still want to hang onto it as an investment vehicle...
There seems to still be investors that feel comfortable trying to grow wealth through purchasing, sometimes holding and selling current production model watches.
But then again it ties a relatively large amount of capital up in a watch - and I’m not sure that watches are always long term reliable investments and the “perceived value” world of watches seems to be in a state of change.
But not too worry because you can always sell it and use your profits to buy the new Oyster Perpetual in either turquoise or that awesome silver

Whatever you do I hope that you enjoy your new watch in the best of health!
