Antiquorum (and other auction houses) is/are an avenue for unscrupulous people to sell their wares. The employees that I worked with at (unnamed auction house), were in my opinion (the following is my opinion and not to be construed as fact) were little better than thugs! When I presented said unnamed auction house with a problem with a watch they sold me that was completely misrepresented (they claimed it was made by one brand when in fact it had the movement of a different brand) that showed their clumsiness, their response was that I had to follow a procedure that put all the burden on me AND make me go through lots of paperwork AND that they needed the watch back for an INDEFINITE PERIOD OF TIME before they could refund my money (probably to find another poor sap to buy the watch) and IF I DIDN'T PLAY BY THEIR TERMS they didn't want to do anything about the problem they created. Then they never returned my phone calls nor emails, knowing that I lived thousands of miles away, they knew it would be rare for me to visit them in person.
Auction houses are awful. I've had more problems with auction houses than successes. Yet, for some odd reason, I stupidly go back... The Force of the Dark Side is strong...
