Hi fellow Purist

I have not contributed for a while...

I wanted to seek advise from the experts and was wondering apart from the rolex boutiques (where the waiting list may be over 2 yrs) what other alternative would I have to get a root beer (the latest one) without having to pay for a 60% premium like the one I am trying on the picture please ?

Buy in a country with high inflation and lag to adjust prices. The least popular destination might be your best bet. I've seen some of these hard to find pieces on my travels overseas. Call ahead of time. You may be able to secure the piece. You don't want to waste your time.

Of course, you would want to get it verified first. I see them all day long down here. I'm 100% positive someone is tired of theirs or hardly wears it anymore and would be willing to let it go. No shortage of luxury cars or watches down here!

I thought of going grey market for other sport Rolexes but I have now given up on Rolex. At these grey market prices, it is not worth it. I will get a VC overseas.

The NYC greys (47th street) have them for about 10% above MSRP only.  Save money plus get a vacation out of it, too!

So there not to hard to find imo . Its a great looking watch

Yes it’s more expensive but much better value and looks another level! Best looking GMT around!
