The Rolex Comex. An important part of the Dive history.
A lot of times the significance of the early Comex 5513 no logo is lost.
But the great stories and provenance that accompanies these watches which never sold retail and only afforded to professional divers is priceless.

Anatols watch was one number away from me. He had the Hudson letter which i dont have but with only one number apart i can almost share his letter.

Ah, the early Comex!
I did not wear mine much, so it had to leave. But everytime I see one, I regret having sold it.
These are fascinating and important watches indeed, from a time when diving was still an adventure!
True, I think the same. For the same price you can buy a Comex sapphire submariner, but imho...it's another league. These are truly tool watches. Thanks :) [nt]
