Received this announcement in email. The Ingenieur line has caught my eye and in that context I admit this is an attractive PC. Certainly look forward to live shots, and of course more details on this piece from our moderator IWC himself.

And, IWC does email past new releases quite often. I am sure you also got the original new releases email back in March. I did see the watch at the boutique and liked it a lot but I neglected to take a picture for some reason. Very much worth seeing it in person.
Nice one...but I do think any IWC watch in the Ingenieur line ought to have a second hand.
That really is a stunning looking IWC Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar.
The blue of the dial is really beautiful and everything being so clean and easy to read is a big plus in my view.

I tried it recently...
...and it was THICK! Lovely looking dial, but a monster on the wrist.
I got that sense of thickness from the wrist shot above.
I don’t know how that compares to an AP for example. But it does look like a big boy.
AP perpetual calendar is 9.5mm thick, while IWC Ingenur perpetual calendar is 13.5 mm
