for me representative of recent Panerai and I appreciate that.
A real vintage is a must have but very rare and expensive these days.
A new release of vintage spirit is just a pale copy, even if It can be done nicely of course. For me, Panerai is doing too many these past years and will continue in the future. What will be the next one in 2015!!!

Yes, but I always preferred the 6154, and this 587 is the next best thing after the Small

The 372 IMO was one of the better things which came out of OP
..but it did not stop there..
..there were few more re-editions and remakes and remodifications of many more models after the 372..
..not saying the 587 is not appealing but I prefer the 372 more, Damjan.

I personally feel that the 578 and 372 are the most desirable watches in the present catalogue of Panerai, at least for my personal "gusto".
The fact that the 578 is an historic rendition or homage to a military (Italian navy) Panerai watch of the past, and also being a limited edition of 1000 units, makes me to chose it as a priority and as such I searched it and finally luckily got it just a few days ago as I have explained in my previous post.
But I´m sure the 372 will arrive to my collection during 2015 to complete my collection of Panerais... for the moment! Lol.

... sugestion of completing the trio with Pam 249: I love California dials! And the 249 is THE Cali to own for sure.
Anyway, I already got a 424 date.
Yes... I would rather preferred the new non date version, and I would preferred no logo at "6"...
But regrettably here in my Country, it is doesn´t count what I wish but what I can get from the offerings of our small local market!
Let me say that in spite of the date window and logo I´m very happy with my 424 which is a very nice watch in my opinion.

I would personally choose the Marina Militare. I find it's charm irresistible.
