But for some odd reason, my favorite will still remain to be the PAM 203. It's a bit big for my wrist (gotta put those gym memberships to use) but I think it's an awesome watch. Another one I really love is the 390 and the 590 is my recent favorite.

I think that a 45mm....
MN would be a humongous hit (not unlike the 372) and it would sell like the proverbial "hot cakes". I'm also sure a 47mm would be well received but, in my personal opinion, would be a mistake of sorts. I think that having a 42mm Pre-V, a 45mm normal production and a 53mm Unique edition, would be more than enough, for the time being

I'm afraid not. I really dislike chronographs...
regardless of the brand. That is, if they come up with a "garden variety" chrono. Should they add some..twists..of sorts, one never knows..haha

... anything bigger would limit the sales of it is my guess, it's not the most loved Panerai model (you can see this on the interest of the vintage pieces who are reasonably priced for the most of them).
I'm not even sure i would by one to be honnest, have to see it in the flesh first ....

Panerai is putting to of efforts into chronographs ... I'm quite sure that sooner or later we'll see a "non LE/SE" Mare Nostrum ... it's just a question of time.
Would I but it? Maybe not ... would I like it? Surely yes ...

It seems that with all the new Panerai models coming out -- incorporating parts or design elements from earlier pieces -- that the company would issue a new Mare Nostrum and one that doesn't cost $50,000 plus. There may not be much demand, but the trouble is a lot of collectors don't know much about the model. Besides the expensive LE PAM 300, a Mare Nostrum hasn't been issued since the series, #6,7,8 in 1997.
