Putting this accordion rubber strap makes my PAM203 dial look more gray colored because now it contrasts with the black strap.  Aesthecially, the watch looks "boring" to me now since it's all monotone shades.  It looked 1000x better on my vintage beat up calf brown leather strap because it gave it character.  Nonetheless, I main reason I put on this strap is for the comfort and wearability in water.

The rubber strap is a tapering 26mm x 22mm so I had look for a 22mm buckle.   Luckily I purchased a polished Panerai 22mm buckle several years back, so I used this as the buckle.  The PAM203 buckle is a Pre-V 26mm buckle so in the box that goes.

I prefer the vintage leather because it suits the watches original intent and DNA.

For practical use as you noted, swimming, I guess it works.

Yeah, much p;refer it on leather.  Maybe consider ordering a Kodiak waterproof leather strap; for it.

I'm still going to wear it on the rubber strap for the time being because it's just much more comfortable to wear on the rubber even though I know it looks 10000000000x better on the calf strap.
