I think the new clients will love it, the old school guys would rather be disoriented, and may be not so happy to see Panerai using and abusing of such a dial.

Having a virtual walk in my real hard disk, I fell on this picture of my Ex Cali:
Bringing me back to some nice souvenirs...
I remember how I was excited while waiting for my California to land at my AD.
How happy I was to finally get it.
Certainly one of the best Watch Panerai released these last 7 years, along with... This bloody Pam 372.
One regret, though: Seeing Panerai releasing so many variations of this Watch, in white gold, Platinum, with a... DATE ( What a non sense on such a Watch ), with a Small sesonds ( same thoughts that for the presence of a date ), and, last but not the least of the horrors, the presence of the logo...
A Cali is a cali, a strong Watch, simple, sober, where the rule " less is more " is the platinum rule.

We're too similar, you and I. Less is more...
is what attracted me, eventually, to Panerai. The 249 was my...first...Panerai. I didn't even know it existed when I saw it in a shop window, in Hong Kong. I immediately went in, put the credit card on the counter (without asking the price, to be sure) and walked out of the shop with the Breguet I was wearing before, inside the.....Cali's box 
Indeed, a watch I miss a lot.

I guess so. Hmm I can't picture how a Cali in Luminor case
would look like. Maybe it would look nice in the PAM372 1950 case but I'm having a difficult time imagining it visually. Guess I need to see a photoshop mockup.

The Panerai 190 a real classic
This one is one of the rare watches that I kept the original strap on and never changed it. I is a sport classic that will endure time.

love that term..as much as i love my 190...
I have had the 249/448 and ended up letting both go...after a while, its just too darn big for my girly wrist..but the Cali dial is just so "Panerai"
